Buffalo Bills – Despite investigation: Von Miller ready for Kansas City Chiefs

When the Buffalo Bills take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, they’ll have Von Miller to fall back on. Even though he’s under investigation by the police

Von Miller didn’t want to talk. “Not today,” the Buffalo Bills superstar said at practice recently.

The linebacker may not want to talk, but he will probably be on the pitch in the top game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite the investigation against him. They would certainly have been the subject of the questions he did not want to answer.

Miller recently surrendered to the police after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of domestic violence. He was released on bail of 5,000 dollars. Miller is alleged to have assaulted his pregnant girlfriend. He is facing a charge of aggravated assault.

Bills: Talks with Miller

Theoretically, though, he can still be used, as general manager Brandon Beane emphasized. The Bills could use some quality in the fight for the playoffs, as they stand at 6-6 ahead of Week 14.

“We weren’t there. We’re not the investigators,” Beane said, “We obviously had our conversations with Von and understood what he thinks happened, and so we can’t get involved.”

He added: “It’s an ongoing investigation and we’ll just wait for the legal process and he’ll take part in training as normal.”

Which Miller did. Beane does not believe that the NFL or league boss Roger Goodell will put him on the so-called “Commissioners Exempt List”. This means Goodell could ban the two-time Super Bowl winner

“If it’s an ongoing investigation and the commissioner has uncovered something that he feels is not good at any point, they could do that,” Beane said. “But with what we know today, we don’t expect that.”

Asked if the team would part ways with Miller if he was found guilty, Beane said, “Let’s just wait and see what happens in that regard, but I think you know us. We’re going to try to make things right.”

The NFL issued a statement Wednesday saying it is continuing to gather information and monitor any legal developments.

Miller signed a six-year, $120 million contract with the Bills in 2022. The pass rusher has played a total of 19 games for the team, including eight this season. He suffered a torn ACL a year ago.
