Russell Wilson suffered a concussion in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Denver Broncos also now have no mathematical chance of making the playoffs.
Munich/Denver – For Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos the season found another low point. With the 28:34 against the Kansas City Chiefs they already conceded their fifth defeat in a row.
With an interim record of three wins and ten losses, they no longer have a mathematical chance of making the playoffs.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Wilson also suffered a concussion and had to be taken out of the game.

With twelve minutes left in the game, the quarterback was stopped just short of the opposing end zone, slammed his helmet to the ground and remained dazed at first.

By then, Wilson had thrown passes for 247 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. His backup Brett Rypien threw one touchdown pass and one interception.
