The Buffalo Bills remained unstoppable in their first snow game of the season and stayed on course for the National Football League (NFL) playoffs. Quarterback Josh Allen’s team beat the Cincinnati Bengals 39-34 in wintry conditions, bringing the title contenders to nine wins and four losses. In the AFC East, the Bills are second behind the New England Patriots (11-2).
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens suffered their second consecutive defeat after a winning streak. After losing 22-27 to Aaron Rodgers’ Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore now has a 6-7 record and had to let their opponents pass them in the AFC North. The Steelers (7-6) are the new leaders. Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown pass, but seconds before the end, the Ravens quarterback was sacked, sealing the game. Rodgers also threw only one touchdown pass. Allen, on the other hand, threw three in Buffalo and ran into the end zone himself once. The star player shone with a total of 78 rushing yards. On the other side, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw four touchdowns, but also two interceptions. The Seattle Seahawks continue their march toward the postseason. The 37-9 win at the Atlanta Falcons was their seventh victory in the last eight games. The team led by quarterback Sam Darnold jumped to the top of the NFC West with 10 wins and 3 losses.
German-American Brandon Coleman had a day to forget with the Washington Commanders. The team from the US capital lost 31-0 to the Minnesota Vikings. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-6) stumbled to a surprise 24-20 defeat against the New Orleans Saints (3-10).
