The Buffalo Bills’ playoff exit against the Cincinnati Bengals has repercussions! Winning cornerback Eli Apple lashes out at Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs of the Bills on Twitter.

To call Bengals cornerback Eli Apple a trashtalker is almost an understatement.

The 27-year-old from the Cincinnati team now lived up to his reputation as a provocateur once again when he took shots at the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs after their 27-10 playoff win.

Apple responds to Diggs’ frustration

It all started with a tweet from Buffalo wide receiver Diggs, who defended his openly displayed frustration at his team’s abrupt exit, writing, “It’s easy to criticize my reaction more than the result.”

Apple mocked Diggs, replying, “Cancun on three.” By that, he implied that the Bills are off as of now and can go on holiday.

A Donald Trump meme as provocation

But he didn’t stop there. Shortly after, he retweeted a video of Donald Trump complaining about bright spotlights at a campaign event, accompanied by the statement, “Diggs in the playoffs. “

Apple recommends couples therapy

Apple then made its (temporary) final point with a video showing an argument between Diggs and quarterback Allen.

“Someone needs to get them into couples therapy,” Apple wrote, “I’m paying, by God. “

Apple has a history of being a trashtalker

This is not the first time Apple has presented itself as an inclined trashtalker. Last year, he provoked some Chiefs players after Buffalo knocked Kansas City out of the playoffs.

They then retaliated shortly after Super Bowl LVI, which Apple lost with the Bengals to the LA Rams. Apple played grotty and allowed two touchdowns.

“I wish you were a better corner, then the decisive touchdown wouldn’t have fallen over you,” wrote the Chiefs’ Mecole Hardman, for example.

Apple has not learned its lesson

After that, a load of ridicule poured down on Apple, which has angered some players since its arrival in the NFL in 2016.

Apple apparently hasn’t learned anything from this lesson – but the talkative Bengals pro remains a topic of conversation.
