Much has happened in the past few days

Not much could be coaxed out of the quarterback superstar, yet a lot has happened in the past few days. The Green Bay Packers and New York Jets have been in talks, and despite conflicting reports, the bottom line seems clear that both parties would probably come to an agreement if they had to.

Whether it has to be is up to Rodgers, with both teams waiting for his decision. Last week, the Jets had met with Rodgers, with owner Woody Johnson in attendance.

Rodgers was also asked about the meeting. The answer: meaningless. “It’s always interesting to meet important people in sports. Yeah, it’s always interesting,” Rodgers told Marshall: “That’s all I’ll give you.”
