The schedule for the 2025 NFL season is slowly taking shape. Two more games have now been scheduled.

Following the announcement of the opening game of the 2025 NFL season, with the Dallas Cowboys visiting Super Bowl winners Philadelphia Eagles, the dates for two more games have been confirmed.

Here is an overview of all the confirmed developments.

May 13: Chiefs host Broncos on Christmas Eve in Kansas City

For the second year in a row, the Chiefs will play on Christmas Day. The Denver Broncos will be guests in Kansas City on Christmas night. The game will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video. Last season, they played the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25.

The NFL broadcast achieved high ratings on Christmas Day. The league plans to play three games every Christmas in the future, regardless of which day of the week the holiday falls on.

May 13: Eagles host Bears in Black Friday game

The reigning Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, already know three games on their schedule.

The latest schedule announcement has the Eagles hosting the Bears on Black Friday, November 28, at 3 p.m. ET (9 p.m. German time). The game will be broadcast on Prime Video.

The Eagles will open the season on September 4 with a game against the Dallas Cowboys. On Saturday in Week 16, the Eagles will face the Washington Commanders in Washington.

May 12: Doubleheader on Saturday in Week 16

So there will be a doubleheader on Saturday in Week 16. On December 20, the Washington Commanders will host the Eagles, and the Green Bay Packers will take on the Chicago Bears.

So just before Christmas, fans will be treated to two division showdowns. The Commanders and Eagles are rivals in the NFC East and faced each other in the NFC Championship Game in the last playoffs.

The Bears and Packers, meanwhile, have a decades-long rivalry within the NFC North.

The complete schedule for the upcoming season will be announced on Wednesday night/Thursday morning US Eastern Time. The pairings for the seven International Games will be announced on Tuesday.
