2023 Draft: Tennessee Titans may be weighing trade for number three pick

There’s already been one blockbuster draft trade, will there be another soon? According to a report, the Tennessee Titans are considering a package for the Arizona Cardinals’ pick

The Carolina Panthers traded two first- and second-round picks each, as well as wide receiver D. J. Moore, to the Chicago Bears for the first pick in the 2023 draft.

NFL insider Daniel Jeremiah reports that Carolina might not be the only team trading up, as the Tennessee Titans are said to be interested in the Arizona Cardinals’ pick. Tennessee is weighing its options, but nothing has been decided yet.

If the Titans decide to make the trade, it is believed they will select one of quarterbacks Anthony Richardson or Will Levis with the pick.

Young and Stroud at position three likely gone

The other two top-seeded playmakers Bryce Young and C. J. Stroud are considered safe candidates for the top two picks, although there are differing opinions on the order

Tennessee had playmaker Malik Willis selected in the third round in last year’s draft, but he was hardly convincing in three starts. Both general manager Ran Carthon and head coach Mike Vrabel had recently advocated the return of Ryan Tannehill as a starter for the upcoming season.

The team is facing a massive shake-up.

Tennessee fires several stars

During the offseason, the Titans released left tackle Taylor Lewan, outside linebacker Bud Dupree, inside linebacker Zach Cunningham and kicker Randy Bullock, among others.

Most recently, there were also rumours about a trade of superstar running back Derrick Henry.
