NFL – Tennessee Titans: L’Jarius Sneed is looking forward to duels with DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley

In the NFL offseason, cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was traded from the Chiefs to the Titans. He is particularly looking forward to the upcoming training duels with Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins

In the past two years, L’Jarius Sneed won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, and in the 2023 season he also developed into one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.

In the offseason, he was traded to the Tennessee Titans, who immediately signed him to a four-year contract. In training, he will be up against Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins in Nashville – and is particularly looking forward to these encounters.

“Going out there and working with these elite receivers – I’ve never had two elite players like that to go against every day. I’ve had great players, but these two guys, household names, they stand out. I can’t wait to work with these guys,” Sneed said on “SiriusXM NFL Radio.”

The 27-year-old is firmly convinced that he will come out of the sessions stronger and, at best, take his game to a new level.

“I know they’re going to make me better in training and I can’t wait to hear from them how I can get better. What they see, what my weaknesses are from their perspective and not from the perspective of the other guys I’ve played with for four years. I want new guys to look at me from the outside,” Sneed continued.

Sneed excited about Titans from the start

The Titans have completely realigned themselves in recent months. With Brian Callahan came a new head coach, the offseason commitments around Ridley, Sneed, running back Tony Pollard or center Lloyd Cushenberry are impressive. This is another reason why the cornerback said he was keen on a Titans move from the outset.

“When I realized where I was going, I was excited. It’s a new culture, and that’s something I love: change. I love to grow, whatever that may be in life, I love change and I love to grow,” he said.
