New York Jets: Haason Reddick arrives via trade from the Philadelphia Eagles

Spectacular trade! Star defenseman Haason Reddick leaves the Eagles and joins the Jets

The Philadelphia Eagles are trading linebacker Haason Reddick to the New York Jets, according to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter.

The Eagles are expected to receive a third-round pick from the Jets for the All-Pro edge rusher in the 2026 draft, which can also be converted into a second-round pick.

That would be the case if Reddick is on the field for 67.5 percent of the season and records ten or more sacks. Should that not be the case, the compensation remains a third-round pick.

Reddick went to the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2022, but lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. Over the past five years, the 29-year-old has recorded the fifth most sacks in the entire NFL.
