Russell Wilson apparently isn’t done in Denver yet.

Speaking on the “I Am Athlete” podcast, Wilson explained that he wants to take the Broncos back to where they last were over eight years ago.

“For me, it’s all about winning,” the 35-year-old emphasized, adding to the amazement of many NFL fans: “I want to win two more Super Bowls in the next five years. “

The Broncos last won the Vince Lombardy Trophy in 2016 – back then with quarterback legend Peyton Manning. Wilson won his – so far only – Super Bowl in 2013 with the Seattle Seahawks.

“I want to hold that trophy in my hands again,” said Wilson, while also speaking out in favor of staying in Denver. “I love the city and everything else here.”

However, first and foremost he wants to be in a place that also loves him. “I want to win, that’s all that matters to me.”

However, this decision by Denver head coach Sean Payton does not really seem to have had a negative impact on the veteran’s confidence.
