According to an affidavit obtained by the Post, Mahomes Sr. was caught with an open can of Coors beer in the center console. He had previously been noticed with his driving, traveling significantly slower than the other cars.

He told police that he had “had a few beers while watching a game at a local bar” when asked why he had been drinking while driving, according to the affidavit.

“Based on the totality of the circumstances,” the arresting officer wrote, citing probable cause, “I believed that Patrick was noticeably impaired while driving a motor vehicle in a public place. “

This is not the first time the 53-year-old has attracted negative attention in this regard.
