Amon-Ra St. Brown wasn’t going to let the defeat go away.

The Detroit Lions’ loss in the championship game to the San Francisco 49ers was bitter enough. The Lions’ wide receiver wanted to at least spread some confidence.

Although they didn’t make it to the Super Bowl for the first time this year, the coming season could be a new opportunity.

“We’re hungry, we’ll be ready,” promised the German-American with a view to next season. “We have a lot of good players and the right coaches to be back here next year,” said St. Brown.

“We have to show more, we have to be better,” demanded the 24-year-old. “But it will be tough, tougher than this year. We are hungry.
