New York Jets trade wide receiver Denzel Mims to the Detroit Lions

After some back and forth it is now clear: Denzel Mims will leave the New York Jets and sign with the Detroit Lions.

The game of hide and seek for Denzel Mims has come to an end.

The New York Jets wide receiver is moving to the Detroit Lions, according to consistent media reports.

In exchange, the Jets will receive a conditional sixth-round pick in 2025, and the Lions will receive a seventh-round pick in the same year.

Confusion about Denzel Mims

It was initially reported that the Jets were going to release Mims. Afterwards, however, they apparently backed off from their plans.

Mims was selected by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 draft, but never really convinced.

So next season he will be teamed up with German pass receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
