Cleveland Browns unveil new jerseys

The Cleveland Browns have unveiled a new set of jerseys. The men from Ohio will be wearing almost all white for three selected games in the coming season. With this, the franchise is harkening back to the very early years.

Cleveland Browns fans can look forward to a new jersey set alongside the traditional brown and orange jerseys.

The franchise announced that the Browns will wear white jerseys to three select games next season. In week two against the Pittsburgh Steelers, in week six against the San Francisco 49ers and in week 17 against the New York Jets.

These games are themed “White Out Series”.

Browns revisit colours before tradition

The colour is no coincidence, the Browns wore white in their early history, from 1946 to 1951, before the jerseys then became traditional brown and the helmets orange.

With the abolition of the “One Shell Rule” in 2022, teams will be allowed to wear other colour combinations or their alternate throwback jerseys. Already several teams have unveiled a retro design which they will flaunt in the coming season.
