The NFL teams will probably have to reckon with less money in the coming season due to missing ticket revenues. The NFL could be accommodating now.
The NFL is currently discussing reactions to the corona crisis, which could also affect the start of the season (September 10) and its preparation.
As “ESPN” reports, the league is now planning to raise the debt limit for the 32 clubs. Instead of the previous 350 million US dollars, the limit will then be 500 million.
Audience revenues are likely to stay away for the time being
The reason for this is presumably the loss of viewer income, as the start of the league in September could possibly take place without spectators.
However, there is no official announcement of the NFL yet.
