Justin Fields declared for the NFL Draft back in 2021 and was selected eleventh overall by the Chicago Bears. Two years later, the quarterback will also receive his degree from his former university.
Justin Fields can now officially call himself an Ohio State alumni.
The Chicago Bears quarterback received his degree in consumer and family financial services on Sunday.

Fields was one of 191 active as well as former student-athletes who played in the Buckeyes’ program. The athletes were honored at Ohio State University’s spring commencement ceremony.

The current Bears quarterback originally started his career with the Georgia Bulldogs, but transferred to the Buckeyes prior to the 2019 season. He reached the playoffs with them both years and was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year each time.
In the draft, the Bears traded up as high as position eleven to make the quarterback their new franchise face.
