Dallas Cowboys: CeeDee Lamb talks about his future

After the Dallas Cowboys pulled the fifth-year option on CeeDee Lamb, the wide receiver is speaking out about his future – and has specific ideas.

Receiver CeeDee Lamb to lock him up early for the 2024 season as well.

Executive Vice President Stephen Jones, however, made it clear publicly that a long-term contract extension is the goal.

This is apparently also the wish of the pass receiver.

When asked about his future with the franchise, he told “TheAthletic.com”, “I’m very excited, Dallas is a place I’ve always wanted to be. I can’t imagine wearing another jersey at all. I don’t want to go into too much detail, but I’m definitely excited about the future.”

Lamb was picked 17th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft and has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of the past two seasons. He caught passes for 3396 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Cowboys officials face a busy few weeks as they also seek longer-term contract extensions with quarterback Dak Prescott and cornerback Trevon Diggs.
