The Carolina Panthers are likely to select a quarterback with the top pick in the draft. However, head coach Frank Reich and owner David Tepper reportedly disagree on who it should be
C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young? On the Carolina Panthers, head coach Frank Reich and owner David Tepper reportedly disagree on which quarterback should strengthen the Panthers in the future, according to “ESPN”.
While Reich favours Stroud, Tepper apparently wants Young.
The Panthers bought the No. 1 pick from the Chicago Bears for the upcoming draft, and for the 9th pick in 2023, the 61st pick in 2023, the first-round pick in 2024 and the second-round pick in 2025, as well as wide receiver DJ Moore, the Panthers can be the first team to select a player.
That will be a playmaker given the Panthers’ quarterback issues. In terms of playmakers, the franchise has tried a lot in recent years but hasn’t been happy since parting ways with Cam Newton.
Also Levis and Richardson in selection
Along with Bryce Young (Alabama) and C.J. Stroud (Ohio State), Will Levis (Kentucky) and Anthony Richardson (Florida) are also considered top talents.
Because of the alleged disagreements, however, it remains to be seen who it will end up being. The Panthers still have time, though, with the draft not starting until 27 April. Maybe the Panthers hit back again, though. We’ve written up a few theories on that one.
