Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion ‘makes sense’ to Raheem Mostert

Tua Tagovailoa suffers the next concussion in the game against the Packers. For Dolphins teammate Raheem Mostert, the injury makes sense in hindsight – especially for one reason.

On the last NFL game day, the Miami Dolphins conceded a home defeat against the Green Bay Packers. Only days later it was announced that Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during the game – for the second time this season.

While the playmaker is now in the league’s Concussion Protocol, teammate Raheem Mostert has spoken out about the 24-year-old’s injury.

“I was shocked. I didn’t realise at all that Tua had gone through that,” the running back is quoted as saying by the Palm Beach Post.

And continued, “But it kind of made sense toward the end of the game, too. I was wondering in the huddle, ‘What are we doing here? What’s going on here?’ It wasn’t about him specifically at all, but the whole aura of the offense in the huddle,” Mostert continued.

Tagovailoa threw an interception on three consecutive drives to end the game.
