NFL: Suspensions reduced against Randy Gregory of the Denver Broncos and Oday Aboushi of the LA Rams.

After the Los Angeles Rams’ 51-14 win over the Denver Broncos, there was a brawl on the field after the final whistle. In the wake of it, Randy Gregory of the Broncos and Oday Aboushi of the Rams were suspended for one game. However, after the appeal, the penalty was reduced.

The nerves at the Denver Broncos have been on edge for weeks.

After the 14:51 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, defensive end Randy Gregory instigated a brawl between the two teams. For that, he was suspended for one game, as was Rams offensive lineman Oday Aboushi.

Rams vs. Broncos: fine instead of game suspension

After the appeal of the two players, the NFL has reduced the suspensions. Randy Gregory must pay a $50,000 fine, while Aboushi must pay $12,000.

TV footage shows the defensive end landing a blow to Aboushi’s helmet, who retaliated.

This means the Broncos can count on Gregory against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17, while the Rams can count on Aboushi against the Los Angeles Chargers. Both teams, however, have no chance of making the playoffs.
