Papa Brady reveals: No bad blood after Tom’s move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Thomas Brady Sr. explains in a podcast that his son’s move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not leave scorched earth with the New England Patriots.

Following Tom Brady’s surprising move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, numerous participants and experts have commented on the Brady quake. Now Mr. Papa is also taking the floor.

Thomas Brady Sr. affirms in an interview that there is no irritation or even resentment between his son and the New England Patriots.

In an interview with Dell and Sonya Curry and their podcast format “Raising Fame: Sports Edition”, he reports that all reports to the contrary are simply from the realm of fables.

Understanding of Belichick
Bill Belichick, too, had only words of praise for his ex-quarterback. “Both are grown men. It’s okay to go your separate ways at some point. You don’t have to hang on to each other like a limpet all your life,” said Daddy Brady.

And he continues: “A hundred times Tommy told me that Bill is the best coach on the planet for him. He sings his praises all the time.”

New contract, new luck.
In fact, after two decades with the Patriots, Brady Jr. had signed a two-year $50 million contract with the Buccaneers, and had bid a fitting farewell to New England.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft in particular had high hopes for the whereabouts of his superstar until the end – he openly admitted to NBC Boston: “We both like each other very much. Tom is a family member and has become a kind of son to me,” Kraft said.

“So it was a sad but always loving discussion.”
