Munich – Sporting halftime act at the Munich Game in the NFL: From a German perspective, there will be a special highlight during halftime of the NFL premiere at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The German women’s national flag football team will give a demonstration match of the low-contact version of American football.

Alexander Steinforth, Managing Director of NFL Germany, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are delighted about the great response. The NFL FLAG programme is a central building block of the NFL in Germany and, as a non-contact and injury-free variant of American football, is aimed particularly at children and young people.”

The German women’s national team will thus be part of a historic event: For the first time in the history of the National Football League (NFL), an NFL regular season game will take place in Germany next weekend. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks will meet in the sold-out Allianz Arena in Munich.
