Steelers: Players may be calling for offensive coordinator’s ouster

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense leaves much to be desired so far despite strong receivers and running backs. Offensive coordinator Matt Canada is under fire. Reportedly even internally.

Munich – Three touchdowns in three games. That’s all the Pittsburgh Steelers have managed. And that’s despite players like running back Najee Harris or wide receivers like George Pickens, Chase Claypool and more.

Even though Mitchell Trubisky certainly isn’t one of the best quarterbacks in the league and has been criticized, Pittsburgh fans are falling all over offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

The playcalling is apparently not only upsetting the fans. Reportedly, internally, the first NFL players are already calling for Canada’s ejection. Radio host Josh Rowntree claims this on his show.

According to this, a quarterback change from Trubisky to Kenny Pickett in the near future would not be enough to guarantee satisfaction in the Locker Room.
