The supporters of the New Orleans Saints have been waiting eagerly for this news. After a long period of suffering, wide receiver Michael Thomas is back at practice
Munich – Positive news from the New Orleans Saints: Wide receiver Michael Thomas is back.
Head coach Dennis Allen told reporters that the pass receiver participated in team drills again for the first time – and without any complaints. The 29-year-old even went down and had no problems at all.
Allen on Thomas: “Looks good physically “
“Honestly, he landed on the ground a couple of times,” Allen explained. “But that’s all part of the journey to get his confidence back. I think he’s on a good path there and he looks good physically as well. I’m good with where he’s at right now.”
The receiver had missed the Saints’ minicamp as recently as June.
Since 2020, Thomas has only appeared in six games. He was suffering from an ankle injury for a long time, which already cost him the entire last season. He is expected to be fully available to his franchise again for the start of the season.
