Quarterback Colin Kaepernick completes a team workout with the Las Vegas Raiders. Is the franchise trying to pave the way for him to join another team in the NFL with the workout?
Munich – What’s next for Colin Kaepernick?
The former NFL quarterback took part in a team workout with the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday. It was the first time the playmaker has worked out with a franchise again as an unsigned player. He last paid a visit to the Seahawks in May 2017, but they decided against signing him.
But does Kaep really have a chance with the Raiders?
Raiders coach won’t talk about Kaepernick
Listening to the words of head coach Josh McDaniels, it appears that is not the case.
“We’ve invited a lot of people to practice. If there’s an opportunity to improve the team, we’ve said from day one we’d consider any option. He is not the first player we have looked at and he won’t be the last,” the head coach told reporters.
But McDaniels wouldn’t really go into detail about the celebrity training guest. “I’m only talking about people who are also members of our team. “
Sounds more like Josh McDaniels was doing someone a favor bringing Kaepernick in for a workout and isn’t likely he’ll sign him.
Question is though, now that he’s back in the league’s eye, would another team give him a chance? https://t.co/Xizrv5HD8G

For NFL insider Dov Kleiman, the statements made sound more like McDaniels “did someone a favour” by letting Kaepernick work out. A contract signing is unlikely anyway because of the well-stocked quarterback squad.
But with the workout going well, according to “NFL Network”, in which the former pro is said to have impressed those in attendance, the 34-year-old has at least returned to the league’s radar. And maybe the Raiders will eventually pave the way for the quarterback’s return to the NFL anyway.
