The new NFL documentary “Hard Knocks In Season” goes into a second round. In focus in November 2022: the Arizona Cardinals.

Munich – Are the Arizona Cardinals struggling to make the playoffs? How is the franchise handling the pressure? How is Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury leading his team through the crucial weeks of the season? What is the mood like in the dressing room and on the court?

Answers to these questions are to be provided by the successful HBO series “Hard Knocks” – specifically the “In-Season Edition”. There will be a second season of this in November, documenting the work of the Cardinals during the current season.

The documentary series “Hard Knocks” has been around since 2001, following one NFL team each year during pre-season preparation. This is the first time that the Cardinals have been featured in the documentary. In 2015, the team was followed for a season as part of the Amazon series “All or Nothing”.

First season with the Indianapolis Colts

The new “in-season edition” premiered in 2021, when it accompanied the Indianapolis Colts.

“It was a lively and insightful look into the life of an NFL team. This season, we want to build on that success and go even further with one of the most exciting teams in the NFL,” said Keith Cossrow, Vice President of NFL Films.

The traditional “Hard Knocks” will of course also take place next summer, this time with the Detroit Lions around German wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
