The Pro Football Hall of Fame officially confirms that the Las Vegas Raiders vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars will open the 2022 NFL season with the Hall of Fame Game.
Munich – The Las Vegas Raiders against the Jacksonville Jaguars will open the upcoming NFL season with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. This was officially announced by the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Monday.
Traditionally, the show game is played at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. For both Head Coach Josh McDaniels with the Raiders and his counterpart Doug Pederson with the Jaguars, it will be their first stint with their new teams.
Kickoff is on the night of 4 to 5 August at 3 a.m. German time. Two days later, the new Hall of Fame members will be honoured in a ceremony.

The Hall of Fame Game has been held annually since 1962. Last year, the Pittsburgh Steelers won 16-3 over the Dallas Cowboys.
The NFL Hall of Fame will induct Tony Boselli, Cliff Branch, LeRoy Butler, Art McNally, Sam Mills, Richard Seymour, Dick Vermeil and Bryant Young in 2022.
