New York Giants: Brian Daboll is new Head Coach

The New York Giants’ search for a new head coach has come to an end. From the Buffalo Bills comes former offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

New York – The New York Giants have found a new head coach.

The franchise announced that Brian Daboll will take over with the Giants. The 46-year-old was previously also considered a candidate for the coaching position with the Miami Dolphins.

At the Giants, he will meet the new GM Joe Schoen. The duo already worked together for four years with the Buffalo Bills. Schoen as assistant GM and Daboll as offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2021.

Giants GM convinced by Daboll

The Giants had interviewed a total of six candidates for the head coaching position and ultimately chose Daboll, who succeeds the fired Joe Judge.

“We, the owners and I, all think Brian is the right person to be our head coach. Over the past four years, I have witnessed first-hand Brian’s abilities as a leader,” Giants GM Schoen said in a statement released by the team.

Daboll stated, “It is an honour and privilege to be the Head Coach of the New York Giants.”
