Munich/Las Vegas – After a five-year drought, the Las Vegas Raiders returned to the playoffs this year.

Mike Mayock: Poor draft record and falling out with Antonio Brown

“We have relieved Mike Mayock of his duties as general manager of the Las Vegas Raiders,” the franchise said in a statement.

Mayock had taken over as general manager after the 2018 season. The longtime TV pundit’s draft picks left something extremely to be desired during that period.

Mayock also played a significant role in the signing and subsequent separation of Scandal pro Antonio Brown. The two publicly clashed during the preseason in the summer of 2019, in the wake of which Brown called the 63-year-old a racial slur.
