Washington Football Team: Brother of Montez Sweat Shot

Double tragedy for the Washington Football Team. After Deshazor Everett’s serious car accident, the brother of defensive end Montez Sweat is shot and killed in a housing complex.

Munich – Sad news from the Washington football team: the brother of defensive end Montez Sweat was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Henrico County Police Division Twitter account, 27-year-old Anthony Sweat was killed at an apartment complex in the Richmond suburb of Henrico.

According to the report, the NFL star’s brother was pronounced dead at the scene.

“It’s tough and our thoughts and prayers are with the families,” Head Coach Ron Rivera expressed. “When we’re here at the facility, we try to let the players know that we’re here for them.”

For Sweat, who did not take part in team training, 2021 is already the second stroke of fate. Earlier in the year, his mother had died.

Everett involved in car accident

It is a difficult time for the capital club at the moment. So for the second time this week, the team has to deal with a tragic situation

On December 23, Safety Deshazor Everett was already involved in an accident that resulted in the death of his girlfriend. Everett, one of the team’s captains, has since been released from hospital.

Investigations into how the accident happened, just like those into the killing of Anthony Sweat, are still ongoing.
