Munich – German kicker Dominik Eberle has finally celebrated his NFL debut. The Houston Texans promoted the 25-year-old to the active squad on game day 16 and he started in the game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Eberle converted his first extra point attempt for a 7:3 lead. He then put two of three field-goal attempts between the bars and didn’t miss on two more extra-point attempts.
The kicker joined the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2020 before landing with the Houston Texans after a stint with the Carolina Panthers.
With the Texans, he now has a chance to establish himself as a long-term solution.
