Against Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, the defensive star managed his 17th sack of the current season.
With this achievement, Watt is now guaranteed a place in the history books of the Pittsburgh Steelers: Never before has a player of the traditional franchise achieved more sacks in a season, the previous record of club legend James Harrison from the 2008 season was 16 sacks.

The 27-year-old has worn the Steelers’ jersey since 2017 and has been one of the NFL’s best quarterback hunters for years.
Last season, Watt narrowly missed the record with 15 sacks.
