A report in the “Washington Post” has once again put WFT owner Daniel Snyder in trouble. But NFL commissioner Roger Goodell doesn’t believe he obstructed the NFL’s investigation.

The paper reported that Snyder had hired both lawyers and private investigators to interfere with the ongoing NFL investigation.

NFL-appointed lead investigator Beth Wilkinson stated that she came across an allegation of sexual misconduct against Daniel Snyder from a former WFT employee.

After Wilkinson then spoke with the former employee, she stated that Snyder’s attorneys had recently offered her money not to speak to anyone about these allegations and the case.

In addition, Snyder’s lawyers allegedly filed a request with the court to find out which of the former female employees had spoken to the Washington Post or Beth Wilkinson. This was done with the aim of intimidating the women and dissuading them from testifying, reports Bleacher Report.

Goodell explains, “We had access to everyone we wanted access to. Especially with lawyers and law firms, there’s always a certain tug and pull. I think we were able to overcome that and make sure we came to the right conclusions. “
