Green Bay Packers – Aaron Rodgers’ toe injury a worry again

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ lingering toe injury was aggravated again in the emphatic win over the Chicago Bears.

Munich – Aaron Rodgers’ mood was somewhat dampened after the 45:30 win over the Chicago Bears.

Although he set off offensive fireworks with 341 passing yards and four touchdowns thrown, at the same time his toe injury, with which he already had problems before the bye week, worsened.

Surgery again conceivable

“It feels worse again,” the quarterback said after the game. “I don’t know how big the setback is yet, but it definitely feels like one,” Rodgers admitted. The Packers waived a minor surgery during the bye week and hoped to get better by resting him.

Now a possible surgery is suddenly back on the table: “It’s definitely only the last option. But we have to see how big the setback is first,” he concluded.

Rodgers picked up the injury during his domestic quarantine, which he went into due to a Corona infection. Since then, the veteran has rarely if ever been able to practice, but has not missed a game since his Corona return.
