Seattle Seahawks: Pete Carroll comments on possible Odell Beckham signing

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has made a telling comment on the possible signing of Odell Beckham Jr.

Munich/Seattle – Is he coming? Or is he not coming? Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has commented on the possible signing of wide reciever Odell Beckham Jr.

“You’ll see,” Carroll said, grinning meaningfully and broadly, when asked if the Seahawks will put in a waiver claim for Beckham, reports Michael Shawn-Dugar of The Athletic.com.

“We know what the status of things are and we’re ready to throw our hat in the ring,” Carroll added.

He added: “We will let you know as soon as something happens, but now we have to wait. I’m not saying yes and I’m not saying no. You guys will see. “

Seahawks currently only third in NFC West

The Seattle Seahawks have the cap space to take on Beckham’s remaining season salary of circa $7.25 million (circa 6.25 million euros).

The Seahawks have a 3-5 record after eight games and are currently third in the NFC West behind the Los Angeles Rams (7-2) and Arizona Cardinals (8-1).
