NFL: DJ Moore Buys His Own Jerseys and Gives Them to Bills Fans

DJ Moore has already won over Buffalo Bills fans even before making his debut for the franchise. He treated the fans to a wonderful gesture.

DJ Moore was traded from the Chicago Bears to the Buffalo Bills during this year’s NFL offseason. In Buffalo, he immediately won over the fans and treated them to a gift.

During a shopping trip at a mall, he spotted Bills jerseys with his name on them in a store. An employee told a local TV station about the gesture.

At that moment, no one in the store knew he was DJ Moore. The assistant manager described the scene as follows: “He said, ‘Okay, I’ll buy them all.’ I didn’t know how to react, so I just asked if he knew DJ Moore or worked for him.”

Moore reportedly replied that he worked for him. He then added that the store should give the jerseys to any fan who asks for a DJ Moore jersey and tell them it’s a gift from him.

He then left the store, turning around just once briefly to tell the employee that it really was him.

The jersey store did not promote the gesture but instead put zero-dollar price tags on the jerseys and attached a note that read, “DJ Moore has already paid for this jersey.”

The employee was thrilled by the gesture and emphasized how well Moore would fit into the Bills community. With gestures like this, “he shows that he cares. He seems to be really enjoying the community so far.”
