Who will be named NFL Fan of the Year? Six German fans are among the 32 nominees.
For the third time, the NFL is searching for its Fan of the Year. On Monday, the league announced the 32 nominees for the “NFL International Fan of the Year 2025” program.
Six German fans are among them: Björn Baudler (Carolina Panthers), Dennis Urbschat (New England Patriots), David Prutz (New York Giants), Sascha Denzinger (Pittsburgh Steelers), David Roesler (San Francisco 49ers), and Carsten Neubauer (Tampa Bay Buccaneers).
The campaign honors fans “who inspire other fans through their passion for the sport and serve as a driving force in their local NFL communities,” according to a statement from the league.
NFL: Fan of the Year to be announced at the draft
The program has now been expanded beyond the US to ten international markets.
Over 3,500 applications were received for this year’s edition. The Fan of the Year will be announced at the draft in Pittsburgh, which takes place from April 23 to 25.
