California punk rock band Green Day will perform at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco before Super Bowl LX on February 8 (local time), the National Football League (NFL) has announced. The three-piece band hails from nearby Rodeo.
Puerto Rican Bad Bunny will perform at this year’s NFL final halftime show, as was announced back in September. US President Donald Trump had described the choice of musician as “absolutely ridiculous,” but NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell later defended the plans.
The 60th Super Bowl will take place on the night of February 9.
The Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams (NFC) will face off in the NFC Championship Game, while the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots (AFC) will face off in the AFC Championship Game this coming weekend.
The Super Bowl is the most-watched television event in the United States.
