NFL Playoffs: Josh Allen injured – Concerns about the Buffalo Bills’ star quarterback

The Buffalo Bills will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. Josh Allen will have to play through the pain.

Injury worries for the Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen had to be examined early in the first quarter of the Wild Card Game at the Jacksonville Jaguars – suspected concussion. The star quarterback got the green light and returned to the game.

In the second quarter, Allen had to return to the ominous blue tent where players are examined for possible concussions. This time, his hand and knee were also injured. But Allen fought his way back four and a half minutes before halftime.

In the meantime, he ran for the touchdown that put the Bills back in the lead after trailing 3-7. The MVP of the previous season found his way into the end zone from two yards out.
Despite all his injuries, Allen is currently the player who has racked up by far the most consecutive starts. In Week 18, he played one snap before being rested for the playoffs, making it his 135th consecutive game in the starting lineup.

Allen has also been struggling with foot problems recently. If he is unavailable, Mitch Trubisky would be the first backup option. Trubisky has played in four games this season, only seeing extended playing time in Week 18.
