The regular season is approaching the finish line. There is one more match day to go before the NFL playoffs begin – twelve teams have already secured their tickets. The remaining postseason decisions will be made in Week 18.
With the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers having secured their places in the playoffs, twelve of the 14 postseason teams have been decided. The two remaining spots will be decided in direct matchups between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers, and between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. The Bucs need not only a win of their own, but also help from a division rival.
But the battle for home-field advantage and byes in the Wild Card Round is also still in full swing.
