The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have launched a special promotion for the Berlin Game 2025: The Bucs are taking over a kebab restaurant. There will also be a watch party in cooperation with the New England Patriots.
The NFL Berlin Game 2025 is all about the Atlanta Falcons and the host Indianapolis Colts.
But the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also have marketing rights in Germany and have come up with a special promotion: the Bucs are taking over a kebab restaurant in the heart of Berlin!
On the Friday and Saturday before the game, the “Kebab with Attitude” restaurant in Mitte will be offering a specially created dish: the Döner Kebuc. This is a mixture of the traditional kebab and the Cuban sandwich, a specialty from South Florida.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Super Bowl champions visit Berlin
In addition, former defensive lineman William Gholston, who won the Super Bowl alongside Tom Brady in 2020, will visit the restaurant and later sign autographs at the NFL pop-up store in Berlin. Limited edition Buccaneers merchandise will also be sold there. “We are very happy to already have many German fans enthusiastic about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their unique culture. The restaurant takeover and limited-edition merchandise are new approaches to bringing our DNA to life for German fans,“ comments James Ruth, Chief Marketing Officer of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. ”At the same time, the campaign is a tribute to Berlin and its rich culture, with a little wink, of course,” Ruth continues.
After the game between the Colts and Falcons at the Olympic Stadium, the Bucs, in cooperation with the New England Patriots, are hosting a watch party near Checkpoint Charlie – in the evening, the Patriots will be guests in Tampa Bay for an inter-conference game between two top teams.
