The Baltimore Ravens secured a clear victory in Lamar Jackson’s comeback. Jackson scored four touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins.
Lamar Jackson had been sidelined with an injury since week three of the NFL season. In his comeback, he played as if he had never been away.
In the 28-6 win over the Miami Dolphins, the two-time MVP completed 18 of his 23 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns – just one more incompletion than touchdowns.

However, his rushing statistics show that he is not yet at 100 percent: five carries for 14 yards is almost ridiculously low by Jackson’s standards. On the other hand, Derrick Henry (119 yards on 19 attempts) had another top game on the ground.
The best receiver of the evening was Zay Flowers with 64 yards in his box score. The two passes caught by tight end Mark Andrews both ended up in the end zone for six points.
Miami Dolphins off their game again after top performance
After a convincing 34-10 win at the Atlanta Falcons, the Dolphins fell back into old patterns, especially on offense. Tua Tagovailoa threw for 261 yards, but on 40 pass attempts, without a touchdown and with an interception to rookie safety Malaki Starks.
DeVon Achane’s running game was okay with 67 yards on 14 attempts, but he too was either not called upon or unsuccessful at crucial moments. The best receiver was Jaylen Waddle with 82 yards.
This should finally put an end to the Dolphins’ (2-7) last playoff hopes, while the Ravens (3-5) close the gap to two games behind the Pittsburgh Steelers at the top of the AFC North. Both head-to-head matchups are still to come.
In Week 10, the Ravens travel to the Minnesota Vikings, while the Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills.
