Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs hand the Lions their second defeat in front of Taylor Swift. After the game, a wild exchange of blows causes a stir.
A brilliant Patrick Mahomes handed the Detroit Lions and Amon-Ra St. Brown their second defeat of the season in the NFL.
The star quarterback of last year’s finalists, the Kansas City Chiefs, led his team to a 30-17 home victory with a total of four touchdowns in front of pop icon Taylor Swift. After a mixed start to the season, the Chiefs now have a record of three wins and three losses. After the game, there was commotion on the field after Lions safety Brian Branch ignored a high five from Mahomes. Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster then started a verbal altercation with Branch.

He responded by punching his opponent, triggering a brawl. It was only ended when players and coaches from both teams intervened.
German-American wide receiver St. Brown failed to score a touchdown for the second game in a row, catching nine passes for 45 yards. After four consecutive wins, St. Brown and a solid performance from quarterback Jared Goff (two touchdowns, 203 yards) were unable to prevent the defeat.
This was mainly due to Mahomes, who threw three touchdown passes and ran into the end zone himself once. For the Chiefs, who are in good form, it was their third win in the last four games. Singer Swift, fiancée of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, watched the game at Arrowhead Stadium from a box alongside US basketball star Caitlin Clark.
