Warner is not the only prominent player to be sidelined for San Francisco this season. With Brock Purdy, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall, and Nick Bosa, numerous 49ers stars have already been injured this year.
Warner was drafted in the third round in 2018 and has been a key defensive player for his team ever since. He is considered the leader of the defense, known for his many tackles, interceptions, and sacks, and has been named All-Pro several times. He has reached the playoffs several times with the 49ers and played in the Super Bowl twice.
