Two games, two wins: The Green Bay Packers have had a successful start to the season. Offensive lineman Rasheed Walker is therefore making headlines with a bold statement.
After two convincing wins for the Green Bay Packers at the start of the season – 27-13 against the Detroit Lions and 27-18 against the Washington Commanders – O-liner Rasheed Walker is talking big.
“The goal is to keep going,” Walker said. “Honestly, I think we can go undefeated.”
Packers LT Rasheed Walker: “I think we can go undefeated, honestly.”
“Pound for pound, I look at these teams and I don’t really see who is better than us.”
Big confidence but the tone conveys no blustery bravado. Walker is just confident any day GB touches the field.Packers pic.twitter.com/FhE68dHR0v

He continued: “I look at the teams player by player and, to be honest, I don’t see anyone who is better than us. That’s why I can say that with such confidence.”
Walker even elaborated on his statement: “Personally, I’ve had the feeling that we could remain undefeated in the last two seasons. We lost many games because of just one or two plays.”
That should change this season. “But I just think that if our offense plays so well and with such discipline, and the defense plays even stronger, no one can beat us.”
Packers off to a strong start to the season: Stats back up Walker’s statements
Even though only two teams in the NFL have managed to get through the regular season undefeated since 1972, the Miami Dolphins in 1972 and the New England Patriots in 2007, the current statistics support the O-liner’s statements.
The Packers’ defense is currently one of the best in the league. At the same time, the offense is also getting off to a strong start.
Despite injuries to the receivers, quarterback Jordan Love is moving the ball smoothly down the field – 6.1 yards per play puts him in fifth place in the league.
And all this in two games against other Super Bowl contenders.
There are many reasons to believe that the Packers will continue their run this weekend. Green Bay is the clear favorite against the Cleveland Browns, who are 0-2.
