Chicago Bears: Head coach Ben Johnson rages against his own offense

Following the last preseason game, Ben Johnson strongly criticized his offense. The Chicago Bears head coach was dissatisfied with the performance of the starters.

Comeback victory and still a bad mood? The Chicago Bears celebrated a 29-27 victory in their third preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nevertheless, head coach Ben Johnson was not satisfied after the game and criticized his starters, who were on the field for the first two drives and were hardly able to make a positive impact.

“There were a lot of mistakes, it was just disappointing on offense. This inconsistency has been plaguing us for quite some time and I actually thought we had put it behind us,” Johnson said at the press conference.

Bears: Tyson Bagent impresses

Johnson added that he would now analyze the game and hopes to see progress before the start of the season.

After the starters were sent off early against the Chiefs, the Bears’ second string impressed.

Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent threw for three touchdowns and was instrumental in the 19 points scored in the fourth quarter that turned the game in the Bears’ favor.
