NFL – Pittsburgh Steelers: Aaron Rodgers’ first pass is intercepted

New star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a horror debut in his first training session with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Aaron Rodgers probably imagined things going quite differently.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ new star quarterback had an unfortunate debut in training with his new NFL franchise.

The 41-year-old’s very first pass during Steelers training at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe was intercepted.

Rodgers’ teammate Patrick Queen caught the ball.

Rodgers played for the New York Jets in the 2024 season and moved to the Steelers in the offseason. On the “Pat McAfee Show,” the 41-year-old said, “DK is a role model. He’s also a big reason why I’m in Pittsburgh.”

Steelers: Rodgers raves about Metcalf

He is referring to wide receiver DK Metcalf. The two pros have gotten to know each other in recent months, as Rodgers revealed.

“At the beginning of the year, I didn’t know DK at all. He said, ‘I train every day at 6 a.m.’ I thought, okay, this guy has discipline and drive. I asked, ‘How about 8 a.m., because I have to drive from Malibu to UCLA?’ He said, ‘Yeah, that’s fine.’ He’s not just a role model, he’s a really solid person,” reported the four-time MVP.
