NFL: No cheerleaders, reporters and mascots on the sidelines

The NFL stipulates in its “Game Day Protocol” that no uninvolved persons on the sidelines may follow the game. This also applies to cheerleaders.

The NFL is doing its best to guarantee a regular game despite the Corona pandemic.

To this end, further rigid measures have now been decided. Thus the “Game-Day-Protocol” provides that cheerleaders and mascots may not take a place on the sidelines.

In addition, no reporters are allowed to work on the sidelines, not even before a game.

Teams reduce spectator capacities

As some teams have already announced changes in the spectator capacity, the upcoming NFL season (live on TV on ProSieben Maxx, ProSieben and in the stream on ran.de) could become a rather sterile affair.

But the NFL fans will probably be glad anyway that the league can be played in Corona times at all.
