On the ninth game day, Saquon Barkley amazed the NFL world with a spectacular play. Now the Philadelphia Eagles running back has revealed an exciting detail.
Catch, a little juke past the first defender, a turn around the second and a backward hurdle over the third. Saquon Barkley’s catch-and-run against the Jacksonville Jaguars was one of the highlights of the season.
An almost superhuman play that the NFL immediately called out. Saquon Barkley revealed this in the podcast “Air it Out”. Because the Philadelphia Eagles running back had to take a doping test immediately after the game.
The NFL reserves the right to test players for banned substances. It is common practice for players to be tested after the final whistle.
Barkley with Eagles on playoff course
“I was tested immediately after the final whistle,” said Barkley. Asked about the play, the star player said, “I don’t really want to do it again because it’s not a safe play. If it happens again, it will, but I have no intention of trying again right now.”
With the Eagles, Barkley currently has a 6-2 record in the NFC East, just behind the Washington Commanders (7-2).
This season, the running back has recorded 925 rushing yards, 146 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. If he can keep up the performance, he will probably have to undergo a few more tests.
