Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions have recorded their sixth win in their seventh game of the season in the NFL after an offensive fireworks display. The Lions defeated the Tennessee Titans 52-14 to score the second-highest number of points in the club’s almost 100-year history.
German wide receiver St. Brown contributed one of the Lions’ seven touchdowns on Sunday, the most for any team in a single game since 1997 (55-20 against the Chicago Bears). Detroit could have easily broken the tie: the Lions scored the last points of the game shortly before the end of the third quarter, after which head coach Dan Campbell sent the reserves onto the field.
